The generated mesh is watertight with a solid flat bottom — ideal for slicers using spiralise outer contour (vase mode). This prints the entire vase wall as a single continuous spiral path, giving a smooth exterior and saving print time. Export as binary STL and open in Cura, PrusaSlicer, Bambu Studio, or IdeaMaker.
Each vase is defined by a profile curve — a smooth spline through control points that sets the radius at every height. Choose from ten profiles: round, tall, wide, flare, wave, drop, pillar, bag, barrel, and chalice. Each produces a distinctive silhouette ranging from classic forms to modern architectural shapes.
A radial sine-wave adds surface ridges. Ridge count controls how many ribs run around the circumference; depth and sharpness control their prominence. The twist parameter rotates each cross-section progressively — combining high twist with high ridge counts creates striking helical or screw-like vases.
Export the STL, drag it into your slicer, enable vase mode (Cura: Spiralize Outer Contour; PrusaSlicer / Bambu Studio: Spiral vase mode), set your layer height, and print. No supports needed — the geometry is designed for clean single-wall FDM printing on any desktop printer.
